I diet, I run, I tried yoga but can no longer continue with it, i see a therapist, i journal sometimes, i try to talk things out.. i am worried constantly and have negative thoguhts, visualize bad things etc worry constantly

I guess it’s time to self medicate with herbs as nothing is working

what are best remedies for anxiety/depression?

Is 5htp safe? will it take care of both issues? thanks

I found a hobby and clean to help my anxiety.
Stay away from sugar, coffee and caffeine it makes it worse.
Get a pet
I like Chamomile tea it makes me calm, but I drink in once in a while.

I tend to get anxious when i am by myself, around my mestural cycle, bright lights. Faster heart rate, hot flushes, shaking. I know avoiding situations makes it worse, is there anything to help me along the way?

Try using Ylang Ylang in an oil burner & go to the health food shop or chemist for some natural remedy tablets. I had anxiety but i had prescribed medication. Ylang Ylang relaxes you.

I used to drink coffee but I am suffering a lot from anxiety and I want to switch to tea or some natural herbs.

You can try valerian root capsules and Kava Kava. Both are supposed to provide relief from stress and anxiety and cause more restful sleep.

A good tea is Sleepytime, made by Celestial Seasonings. It’s great for bedtime, but you can also have it in the daytime if you are having anxiety symptoms.

Well if I were you I would take him to see a doctor because my sister-in-law just had to have surgery because of anxiety attacks something due to an extra vien she had that was leaking blood. Please take him to the doctor before it’s to late. Her surgery was 6 hours long, doctors told her she could have died, Please keep in mind that I am not telling you to scare you, but this problem with my sister-in-law scared all of us. Good luck
